How It Started

Living and Aging Well was a passion brewing inside me for several years. During my mother’s final years of living with dementia, I continually pondered why some people aged happy, healthy, and well while others did not. I also observed that my clients were getting to the end of their lives very differently, even if they had the same diseases. What were the key elements to living and aging well? As I aged, these persistent thoughts and the need to “do it better” were the catalysts that spawned the beginning of This Is Living Well for me. I realized I wanted to create a platform that shared this vital information and connected people to resources that would ultimately change how they lived the last half of their lives.

My role with This Is Living Well is evangelizing the importance of learning to live and age well.
